we had our call center halloween partay today!!! it was a good time, and i was "officially" introduced as a supervisor.lol

some memory: adam and i found some plastic pink flamingos on the riverfront walking trail last summer. we stole them and named them mel and chelle. they have "save the riverfront" inscribed on them; the riverfront is quite saved, and i think we did everyone a favour by saving the flamingos.
i got a halloween card from my grandma in the mail today. it made me happy!=) "guess who is one of my favourite people in the world? YOU! love always, grandma" you would smile if your grandma sent you something like that!!
i went to the library and printed out my flight info. yea, i got the ticket like a week ago, but i couldn't print it because my black ink won't work. yay for finally getting on that and doing it today.lol

we're having a halloween party at work tonight, so yay for that! i'm actually really excited about it.lol

this is a very not quiet library. i miss the giagantic wvu library; i used to hang out in there, and i quite enjoyed it. the shakespeare section was my favourite.
wellness was a fun time today; we got in groups and had a contest about cardiovascular disease. my group was fun AND smart, so yay. the prize for the winning group was a bag of chocolate from england (this is the british teacher...), and we ALMOST got it, but we lost the tie-breaker question. *sigh.*
if bethany college was a person, he would be living in the past and too obsessed with former days to deal with anything going on right now.

the weather today has far surpassed any other day for the shittiest weather i've experienced at bethany so far. (the last 2 words are key in the sentence, i'm sure.) it's been freezing cold and pouring down rain since long before i awoke this morning. pooooey. no me gusta.

i got spend mucho time with the fuzz this weekend!! that made me happy.=) and, when we went shopping, i bought him a new toy. what cat wouldn't love a purple zebra filled with catnip?! the fuzz already chewed the tail off of his.lol the last time that i went home, i yelled at my brothers for not brushing the fuzz, and i noticed that he was freshly brushed this time. i asked my mom, and she said that both of my brothers had done it the day before i came home.lol
so i've recently had 2 conversations with different people about the pros & cons of going to such a small school. i feel like i'm back in high school, and i'm not the only one--but this is even less than half the size of my high school! i see drama, drama, drama, and just stupid stuff that isn't college-like ALL the time around here. i still like my classes a lot, but i'm not sure what my feelings about the school are anymore. i like all of the things that i expected to like, but i miss quite a few aspects of a big school more than i thought i would. the girl that lives next door is transferring to wvu next semester, so that's interesting. bethany college is a little shady in their recruiting tactics, if you ask me (which nobody has done...).

well, today i experienced my very first of many dr hull exams. don't ask; i don't have any idea how i did. i knew a lot, but i don't know if it was enough for dr hull.
on a cheerier note, i received one of the only a's on my religion test! she was mad that the class did so poorly, and i was happy that i did well!!!=)

kara and i had an adventure tonight trying to understand the directions on a package of paper to print things off of the printer and iron them onto t-shirts. i read, and she ironed; we made a good team, and the shirt is doing well.
random memory: mrs. moore's fickle finger of fate. that was probably one of the most effective methods of learning random vocabulary, and it made us learn a ton of words!
rosh hashanah began today at sundown, as did ramadan. also, today was labour day in australia, and the day of german unity in, you know, germany.
i typed out 2 entire chapters of french vacabulary and notes this afternoon. it was nice; i feel reviewed et intelligente.
a GIGANTIC green bug with the ability to make LOUD bird noises was spotted in my living room tonight! he "moved like a panther" across the wall (haha!). a boy from across the hall caught him, but he was going to put him on us!! i stayed locked in the bathroom with some random girl for about 7 minutes, then he took the bug away and we came out. it was a very scary experience--seriously, it made me shake a little!
know what i really want to do? well, first i want it to be summer again. then, i want to be with eric! we can drive around wheeling (because i'm a whole 20 minutes away, but i still miss it!), we can eat dicarlos pizza from the grove (because, duh, it's super good!), we can talk about how there's nothing to do (there isn't.), we can just go rent a movie from blockbuster (did you know that the new releases are in alphabetical order??), and we can go watch it (i vote for "grease" tonight!!). sound like a plan? well, get home, we'll do it.
i had a good time at work tonight. mondays and tuesdays are the best call center days because i really like the people that i work with those days; they're all fun.

another random memory: eric made me ride the top thrill dragster at cedar point. i didn't like it. on the other hand, i'm proud of myself for doing it--and, i didn't even pee my pants!
i need to memorize 25 lines of beowulf. and, i need to make a 10 minute presentation about visby in 1200. architecture, i think. oh, and i have to come up with a costume for that time period. that's my origins stuff for this week. hmm, sometimes origins makes me want to die.
hey, i went to fitness class today. and, we didn't run at all!! woot. we went to the weight room, and i actually knew how to work every machine. yay for me actually going to the rec center freshman year! haha, i don't think i ever went last year...maybe once or twice. i don't know.
so i had a list of 8 semi-important things to do before the end of the week, and i only did half of one of them today. i'm digusted. really. and, it doesn't even include any school or work related business!! i hate procrastinating; i want to get everything that needs to be done for the semester done now--and, done well!!

observation: everyone at wvu is either a communications or engineering major. everyone at bethany is a social work or biology major.
work tonight made me sleepy. i only worked for 2 hours, and i raised a whopping $670.00 for the bethany fund. i talked to this one guy who went here for a year during wwii before he went and fought in the navy.
so they found a little girl wandering the streets in nyc. she was like 4; she didn't even know her own last name, and said that her mommy looked "like a princess." her mom's boyfriend had murdered her mom, then dropped her off on the street corner and left. what is wrong with people?!?!?!
i think i'm to that point where studying any more origins is just going to make me forget it. i just stare at my notebook and drift off. maybe i'll look at it some more after i shower and wake up a little bit. maybe i'll go to bed super early, then wake up and study more in the morning.

a bunch of cheerleaders are in my living room laughing really loudly. i'm too tired to join them and be intelligent or enthusiastic, so i think i'll stay in here and pretend that i'm still studying.
random memory: my dog across the street from my house in morgantown. he howled a lot, and he ran away every other day. but, he was cute, and he made me happy.
random other memory: i was walking to british lit class at wvu one time, and my logic teached walked though a swingy door right as i was about to go through it. i kicked her really hard. it was on accident, but i was still glad a did it. haha.
random 3rd other memory: on 23 december 2004, it snowed a lot. eric took me out to dinner at undo's. then, he took me to the be taylor concert (no, i really didn't know!lol), and it was way good!! after the concert, we went to his house and watched a movie.
i love my boyfriend. i miss my boyfriend.

i'm super sick of origins.
today is national day in hong kong.
"...when a girl says, 'i miss you,' no one in this world can miss you more than that." really.
things i ate today: a multi-vitamin, banana cereal, apple juice, chicken noodle soup, 8 crackers, some hot cocoa. i burned my tongue on the noodles.
this morning, i woke up at 8. i went back to sleep, had a really long dream that eric was here, woke up & got sad bc he wasn't here, then layed in bed until 10.
i cleaned & mopped the kitchen, vaccumed the living room, my bedroom, and kara's bedroom, and lysoled every single thing in cv424. and, i was reciting facts about constantine the whole time!
va tech beat wvu today. *sadness.* anyway, tonight ought to be a fun night of drunken couch burning and pepper spraying in morgantown; i'm just so sad that i'm gonna miss it.
it's october now. my brother's birthday is in 6 days. i didn't see my boyfriend for the entire month of september; that's so weird.
random memory: when eric and i were coming home from dc last summer, we stopped at a rest stop. i was really tired, so i got a mt dew and a bunch of weird flyers to read. it was hot outside, and i really wanted to go home and take a shower.
random other memory: eric & i went to the penitentiary with andy & carla right before halloween last year. a scary guy with a chainsaw tried to kill me, but eric saved me. then we ate dicarlos pizza, and came back up to bethany. i have a picture from that night sitting in a frame on my desk now.
