i have recently decided that a new and very fun thing to do would be to add a random picture that does not pertain to anything every single time that i write in this blog. today: grape jelly. no more explanation will be provided.
school is done now; i have 3 days of exams, then summer.

this summer seems to be working out very differently. there is a likelihood that i will be living at bethany for the summer and working in the admission & alumni relations departments. good pay, and friends are doing it too, so much fun will be in order.
i don't know what to do with myself after graduation. emerson is still looking good, but maybe there is somewhere better. either way, i have a careers in book publishing bit here, and it says, "brilliant people flock to book publishing, and many keep at it their whole lives. ...besides, it has tremendous snob appeal, and it is quite useful for chatting at happy hour." can't wait.
i am going to new mexico with the spanish club next year for spring break. random, but i am very excited. i've always wanted to visit new mexico for one reason or another, and now i'm going to! shoot.
next year, i am going to pass comps. when i come out, i want people to have party poppers and silly string. also, some fireworks. got it?
eric's car has been broken all week. it had to be towed all the way from bethany to wheeling yesterday afternoon. woo. but, it's fixed and all better now.
i like flowers. there are lots of flowers blooming everywhere right now, and they make me happy.

i haven't written in here for a while, so now i'll do it while my comm class is cancelled. comm is cancelled far too often, and i love that one simple fact about it. other than that, i hate the class. for all of you who said that i ought to be a comm major: HAH.

i went to nyc last weekend, and it was fun. we stayed in times square. i decided that i HATE the times square area. i like the nice (calmer) areas of new york like 5th avenue. we went to the empire state building, visited the metropolitan museum of art, tromped around central park, ate cheesecake, rode a ferry out to ellis island, viewed the statue of liberty, toured the united nations, and slept in the ginormous marriott marquis. i wouldn't want to do it all on a regular basis, but it was nice experience. pictures are on facebook if you're interested.
new thing in my life: i want to attend emerson college for graduate school. woo. they have a super good writing & publishing program, plus dr grimes said that he knows someone there and could pull strings for me to get in. that's a good thing; apparently, it's competitive. i still think i could do it. anyway, if i move to boston in a year & a half, that's what i'm doing. i want to be an editor/publisher when i grow up.
my life is nuts; i have a 24 hour schedule monday-wednesday every single week. i never have any time to just sit until thursday night. last week was especially bad because i was trying to finish everything early to leave. this week is especially bad because i wasn't here, so i had to schedule last minute. i've talked to every single professor in the english department about my classes/sr project with in the last two days.
dr cole told me that i could rewrite the bethany course catalogue for my senior project. funniness.
