well, today i experienced my very first of many dr hull exams. don't ask; i don't have any idea how i did. i knew a lot, but i don't know if it was enough for dr hull.
on a cheerier note, i received one of the only a's on my religion test! she was mad that the class did so poorly, and i was happy that i did well!!!=)
things i ate today: a multi-vitamin, orange yogurt, a granola bar, a starlight mint, a ham sandwich, an applesauce, a diet coke, 2 graham crackers, a bowl of easy mac.
kara and i had an adventure tonight trying to understand the directions on a package of paper to print things off of the printer and iron them onto t-shirts. i read, and she ironed; we made a good team, and the shirt is doing well.
random memory: mrs. moore's fickle finger of fate. that was probably one of the most effective methods of learning random vocabulary, and it made us learn a ton of words!
rosh hashanah began today at sundown, as did ramadan. also, today was labour day in australia, and the day of german unity in, you know, germany.
i typed out 2 entire chapters of french vacabulary and notes this afternoon. it was nice; i feel reviewed et intelligente.
a GIGANTIC green bug with the ability to make LOUD bird noises was spotted in my living room tonight! he "moved like a panther" across the wall (haha!). a boy from across the hall caught him, but he was going to put him on us!! i stayed locked in the bathroom with some random girl for about 7 minutes, then he took the bug away and we came out. it was a very scary experience--seriously, it made me shake a little!
know what i really want to do? well, first i want it to be summer again. then, i want to be with eric! we can drive around wheeling (because i'm a whole 20 minutes away, but i still miss it!), we can eat dicarlos pizza from the grove (because, duh, it's super good!), we can talk about how there's nothing to do (there isn't.), we can just go rent a movie from blockbuster (did you know that the new releases are in alphabetical order??), and we can go watch it (i vote for "grease" tonight!!). sound like a plan? well, get home, we'll do it.
i had a good time at work tonight. mondays and tuesdays are the best call center days because i really like the people that i work with those days; they're all fun.
this semester is going by really fast. why does life always happen when i'm looking the other way? think about it; it does.
another random memory: eric made me ride the top thrill dragster at cedar point. i didn't like it. on the other hand, i'm proud of myself for doing it--and, i didn't even pee my pants!
i need to memorize 25 lines of beowulf. and, i need to make a 10 minute presentation about visby in 1200. architecture, i think. oh, and i have to come up with a costume for that time period. that's my origins stuff for this week. hmm, sometimes origins makes me want to die.
hey, i went to fitness class today. and, we didn't run at all!! woot. we went to the weight room, and i actually knew how to work every machine. yay for me actually going to the rec center freshman year! haha, i don't think i ever went last year...maybe once or twice. i don't know.
so i had a list of 8 semi-important things to do before the end of the week, and i only did half of one of them today. i'm digusted. really. and, it doesn't even include any school or work related business!! i hate procrastinating; i want to get everything that needs to be done for the semester done now--and, done well!!
