today was counselor appreciation day at work. it was a hoot. i was given a really good smelling candle & a really stinky candle. and, i didn't have pool duty today...so i actually got paid to swim with my kids for 2 hours this afternoon! that's fun times.
i'm growing up; it weirds me out. i feel like i was just a little kid a few days ago--and now i'm not!
it's high time for school to start up again. oh, i got a letter from bethany informing me that i need to get a physical before school starts. that should be fun. hah.
i only received one package from britain today. that was depressing.lol
i have to take the trash out tonight. i've taken the trash out one time in my entire life--last year when my parents were on vacation! anyway, i don't like it.
i get to hang out with eric tomorrow night AND friday night! i'm excited!!!=) yea, i see him every day at work, but that's different; i still miss him.
i think i'll redo my nails tonight. they will be pretty.
the weatherman says that tomorrow will be "very, very hot". woot. and, what was today, may i ask? oh well, i like very, very hot!
i ought to go find something to do and be productive. but, what to do??? home alone time is kinda boring; i tend to clean the whole house and sit around looking for more housework to do. i did it all the time in morgantown. anyway, when i get married, my house will be spotless all the time--i'll clean it daily and cook dinner every night. yay!
no more uniforms for work!!!!!!!!! we only have 2 more days of daycamp, and we don't have to wear uniforms either day because we have to turn them in on friday. one of my girls hugged me today and said that she wasn't coming for the last 2 days. it made me sad. i'll be way bored for 3 weeks before school starts. but, i'll get to spend lots of quality boyfriend time before he runs off to spain and i have to travel to europe to see him.

go to cnn.com and read the story about the lady who was declared brain dead, yet kept alive long enough to have her baby. that's sooo neat! now the baby (who weighs a little over 1 lb) is in arlington, va, in the neonatal icu unit. i used to want to be a neonatal icu nurse; i still kinda do...well, i think that it would be the coolest job, anyway.
i'm totally addicted to cnn.com. really. i read the entire page about 15x per day, maybe more. but, i'm way up on my news!=) i don't even read the newspaper anymore (which i used to HAVE to read daily). and, the tv news takes too long. cnn.com is definately the best. read it a lot.
