i changed the url on my wonderful blog for a few reasons. if you're reading this, apparently, you've asked me for the new address (and i've complied!). i wanted to change it, and was quite annoyed bc i thought that i'd have to start a whole new one (and, i've put a lot into this one; see my archive list?!), so i was very happy to find that i can change the url for this existing one.
hey, guess what?! eric and i have been dating for 16 months today!!!!!!!!!!! aww. be happy for us; that's a long time, and it's been an absolutely awesome long time! today also marks one month before he departs for spain. that's sad--but it's exciting too!
i'm turning allergic to my deodorant. ugh. but, this is the longest that i've gone without having to switch to some new brand for quite some time (approx. every month for like 3+ years?!), so i suppose i ought to be glad about that.
daycamp was a gas today. we had an all day swim. again. t'was hot, but the pool was nice and frosty. oh, the power went out for a bit during the early afternoon, but it was back on by the time i had lobby duty at 1:15 (yay for no lobby duty in the dark!).
i sort of miss my morgantown friends from last year; i saw them every single day all year, and i haven't seen any of them since summer started. oh well.
why does it keep thunderstorming?
tomorrow night is the daycamp olders late night thing. that means that i get to stick around with all of my kids from 9:00am until 10:00pm. oh god.
the discovery space shuttle was launched today. it was 111 miles above the earth just one minute after it was launched! craziness.
