aujourd'hui de mon vivant...

21 July 2005

affection.

oh nooooo, i didn't get to blog yesterday!!!!! *shakes in withdrawal* anyway, here's how my day went: work, meeting, major frustration, mall with eric, dinner at greco's, blockbuster visit, hanging out at my beautiful boyfriend's house, experiments with 21, sleep. t'was a good time.
so, my "major frustration" business above is sourcing from my boss. here's the deal, i asked to be with older kids before she had even hired a lot of counselors. then, she put me in preschool. i asked to move again, and she moved me to olders the second week. then, she moved me to middles. then back to olders. now i've been in preschool for 2 days again! i don't like change, and i REALLY don't like unexpected changes (all of these have been sprung on me 3 minutes beforehand). yea, i know that she does it because i'm responsible and she knows that i can do it, blah, blah...but, i don't want to! it's pissing me off. i probably sound like i'm making a huge deal out of something stupid, but it's frustrating me beyond belief!!!!!
today was the preschool zoo trip. oh, and i had to go because, hey, i'm in preschool for the day!!! shoot me. actually, it wasn't that bad; i mean, it was a typical zoo trip. i didn't want to be there, but nothing went majorly wrong--so that was good. i honestly don't like the preschoolers this year; i enjoyed talking to my kids from last year more today than i did mine for this year...er, day.
we had to be at the park at 8 this morning to clock in, but had nothing to do until 9. why? beats me, but we had to. i felt bad because i was at eric's house, and he had to get up early too. anyway, i went to work at 8, clocked in, then erin and i went to mcdonalds to get breakfast (leeann said that we could!lol). anyway, erin hates the preschoolers too; she's kinda in the same boat that i am. it was a nice day.
timmy's friend is here, and they're all in the pool. i want to go swimming, but i don't want to while he's here! he's weird. and, he rode his bike here, so nobody knows when he's leaving (my mom is annoyed that he's here too, haha.).
hey, someone tried to bomb london again!!!!!!! *very mad* but, they caught it all before it really did any harm, so that's muy bueno. snaps for british people!!!!!!!!!!
i talked to the one counselor that i've like never talked to before for almost 2 hours this afternoon. we discussed relationships and stuff like that. it was sorta weird, but not bad weird. he's considering breaking up with his girlfriend and wanted another opinion--i would've felt bad telling him to do it, so i didn't really side one way or the other. i just told him what i thought about different stuff.
i think that maybe i shall clean my bedroom tonight; it's getting a bit untidy. i also desperately need to wash my uniform. and, perhaps, i will wash a few other articles of dirty clothing. we shall see...
hey, i liked the comment about the book collecting! i do collect books (c'mon, i'm an english major!!!). but, book collecting is not a hobby that requires a lot of time consumption. i read a good deal though. i like british literature the best (shakespeare is definately up there pretty high!), so you ought to donate a book or five to my collection.
i ate some weird chicken fry thingys for lunch today. they were good, but very odd. erin and i got lost looking for the food place above the pool (it's hard to get up there!). and, we looked even dumber bc we were wearing our uniforms, so it looked like we actually worked there.lol
my wonderfully fabulous boyfriend is at work right now. that's sad; i want to talk to him--i didn't get to see him all day bc i was on the zoo trip!
tonight is a full moon. it is a proven fact that kids are more rowdy, people have more sex, and more babies are born on full moon nights than other nights. why? it's weird.
bethany called me (the college, that is...) to ask what size of a t- shirt i want.lol but, i forget the email address that she told me to reply to. sigh, i guess i won't get a fabulous bethany shirt. well, if any bethany college officials are reading this (and, i'm sure several are!), i want a small.
i'm going to canada in a few weeks. why? i don't know. we're going to niagra falls and...other stuff? anyway, we're staying on the canada side.
today is the anniversary of charles and diana. woot.

oh yes, collect books. . .then you can be cool like me and phil and have 4 overflowing bookshelves in a very small living space!!!
seriously though, if you want to collect books, make friends with the paradox in wheeling (it's decrepit, but massively cheap bookage can be bought there) and half priced books in pittsburgh (they will buy crappy books that you acquire and give you in-store credit. and they have cool books. . .like a book about a pug named ivan! for real!)
