hooray for london hosting the 2012 olympics!!!!!!!!!! london is the best city ever. seriously. it beat france in the last vote...and madrid, moscow, nyc, & singapore before that. so, now you know where i will be during the 2012 olympics...and, as a matter of fact, on my 21st birthday!!!!!!!!lol
while riding his mountain bike around scotland this afternoon, president bush collided with a scottish cop. the cop hurt his ankle, and gw's arms are pretty scraped up; other than that, both are doing fine. the mountain bike, on the other hand, is not.
here is a little bit of comparison for all of you people who are bitching about high gasoline prices in america today. according to cbs marketwatch, gas in the united states is almost half the price it was 20 years ago--once you adjust for inflation. canadians pay 1/3 more than americans for gas, and europeans pay a third more than that! wheeze. even so, gasoline is cheaper than just about any liquid we buy (except maybe those big jugs of water we get at the grocery store). here’s a list of common commercial liquids, priced by the gallon:
regular gasoline in the usa; $2.22/gallon.
milk; $2.61/gallon.
hershey's chocolate syrup; $12.61/gallon.
pepto bismol; $56.00/gallon.
coppertone sun block; $192.00/gallon.
chanel no. 5; $46,000/gallon.
so, i've decided that now i like jessica (aka "devil child"). she's been very good this week; she's funny, upbeat, and actually plays the games. apparently, she decided that she likes me too because she talks to me a lot now. woohoo! i'm so proud of myself; i could've just given her to lindsey and left it at that, but i didn't.
i'm wearing pineapple lipgloss.
i think that i'll clean my bedroom tonight sometime. and, paint my nails. it'll be a busy evening around here.
tomorrow is the day that i have to work for over 10 hours. everyone should come and visit me! and, everyone should come to the carnival on friday; it's going to be a good time.
i wore these really cute earrings today, but nobody said anything about them. i've had them forever, but i thought that one was lost (and i've thought that for like over a year). anyway, i saw them both sitting in the thing today, so i wore them. yay!
