recap.
so, my internet was down for several days, and i didn't get to blog, or talk to people on aim, or read my 2,974 junk emails! *sadness* you know that you missed me--might as well admit it. i guess that the other 2 computers in my house had internet, but i'm too lazy to go out and use them; i like my computer...in my room. i wasn't really home anyway. despite all of that, here's the whole writing business that you missed while i was awol from cyberspace.
the 4th of july. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i like the 4th of july a whole lot. let's see...i went to the oglebay fireworks with eric's family on sunday evening, then i stayed at his house that night. we made pina coladas...with a real pineapple! on the morning on the 4th, we came back to my house to eat hamburgers with the parentals (timmy & matthew are at camp), then we went to the carwash (wink, wink), then we went into a gas station to buy water, THEN eric's contact went nutso and i went in reisbecks to buy him some solution. after that experience, we went back up to his house. we ate some more 4th of july food (yay for hotdogs!!!!), and hung around there for a while with people. then we went to the waterfront and met the pope for the wheeling fireworks (snaps for the wheeling fireworks!!!!). after that, we ate dicarlos pizza!=)
well, i had to go back to work today...and, guess who's back from the beach?! devil child; aka: jessica. actually, i saw her on sunday night at the fireworks (where she hugged and told me that she still wants to be in my group). and, yes, i took her into my group today. "WHY?!?!?!?!?!?", you may ask. it's simple; she's good now. um, yea, really good. i think that she seriously wanted to be in my group for a few different reasons which i shall not mention, and that she was kinda just testing me last week. today, she sat with me, talked to me (i heard her whole life story, and told her most of mine today), and even admitted that she's too old to be there. my goal is to be friends with her and make her like me by the end of the summer, and i'm very proud of today.lol
continuing with my daycamp ramble, i have a new little girl in my group. she was there the very first day that i had older girls, and hadn't been back until today. she's nine, but will turn ten on july 22 (day before eric's birthday!!!). so, she could still be in the middle group, but i'm definately keeping her! her name is kristina, and she is fluent in russian. and, german. and, english. and, ukrainian! plus, she's learning spanish. this child absolutely fascinates me; it's sooo cool!lol i want to know lots of languages like that. maybe i'll make her teach me ukrainian over the summer.
i called the wvu admissions and records office this morning before i left for work. it was a giant pain, and i have to send them a lot of stuff to get my final transcripts shipped to bethany. ugh. i'm going to get all of that together tonight, and mail it tomorrow morning. maybe i'll do some more bethany emailing tonight for fun.lol
my pool is all clean now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hooray. and, all of the tadpoles (each named carl) are dead. sigh.
a ton of eric's clothes are sitting on my bedroom floor right now. i got them all out yesterday to give back, but he didn't take any of them. i'll just keep them; they're bigger than me and comfortable.lol
i really wish that i didn't have to wear the park uniform to work every single day. it's not ugly; it's just not very cute--and, there is no way to make it any more attractive.
i'm bored, bored, borEd. i think that i'll go do that college stuff now....hah.
