personality.

i started classes today...sooooo i am now an official bethanian!! major snaps for me. now i will tell you all about my classes because i know that you're just dying of curiousity...and, we can't have that, can we? (i wouldn't ever get any more comments! ...as if i do now. hah.) anyway, it rained all day today. that was kinda sucky. but, i didn't look like a freshman bc they didn't have umbrellas, and i did!
9:00 to 9:55; social problems. this class was interesting. i got to talk to 2 other girls who just transferred to bethany this semester (who i met yesterday), and i think that we're going to do our project together. yay! the class sounds pretty easy...and perhaps a bit dull.
10:00 to 10:55; french 110. i learned a new language today! okay, so i learned to count to 20, introduce myself, and ask how people are. oh, and i learned how french people shake hands and knock on doors (so i won't look american when i go to paris!). the teacher seems really nice.
11:00 to 11:55; satan & the existence of evil. hahaha, a satan class! the teacher is kinda insane; she's only here for the semester (or year?) from pitt. anyway, it should be an interesting class, to say the least.
12:00 to 12:55; origins of western thought 2. okay, this class is supposed to be with the hardest teacher at bethany. yea, i do think that it's gonna be hard...but, i totally love the teacher! she's sooooo funny! "bitchin'!" hehe.
1:00 to 1:55; fitness. hmm. i'll definately get my workout by just running from steinman to the rec in 5 minutes. oh well. i don't think that this class will be all that bad; he said it'll only be about 30 minutes every day, and it's only half the semester (then i start ta'i chi!!!!!!!!).
after that, i came home today and ate a bologna sandwhich, a piece of string cheese, and some pineapple. haha, i was REALLY hungry! (note: i have no lunch break in there.)
i started reading for origins. it was boring. then, i got to talk to eric online. YAY! he met an australian today!=) oh, and here's a correction to yesterday's blog: eric is 3,000 miles away, not 2,000. way to burst my bubble, baby! oh well, i still like him.
how about this little hurricane down south, eh? okay, so it's like the biggest hurricane ever, and new orleans is half under 12 feet of water. well, that sucks a big one. and, the roof of that dome that thousands of people are hiding out in is starting to blow off. but, hahahahahahaha, listen to this funny thing that adam told me! a lady got her finger cut off bc her hotel door slammed shut on it, then she was mad bc they couldn't take her to the hospital. i'd laugh at her. and point...and she couldn't point back! hahaha. god, i'm mean.
bethany teachers let us miss a TON of classes before there's a penalty!! almost all of my classes, have a 6 misses limit before there's a grade reduction...um, it was like 2 or 3 at wvu! now, i don't plan on missing class, but still. weirdness. and, bethany classrooms aren't quite as nice. oh well, i guess federal public school funding is nice.lol i still like bethany a lot though!!!! (and, this dorm is way nicer!!)
