memorial day.

well, it's about the end good ol' memorial day '05! what did yoooou do with yourself on this lovely holiday? i wore my lucky patriotic underwear, and hung out with the best person in the world! snaps for me. from what i've heard, most of ya'll were off workin' hard. hah! i don't work yet. anyway, now read about my jolly day...
i stayed at eric's house last night. it was a good time!;-) this morning, eric and i (along with kayla & ryan) left the lovely clinton hills and went to the island. iowa street on the island, to be exact. it was a really nice house. we went to a graduation party for one of eric's mommy's friends. it was nice. i ate a hotdog. and, one of linda's famous really good brownies!lol i threw a basketball, and it went in the hoop. yay! i haven't done that in a long time...believe it or not, eric, i used to be really good at basketball in middle school!lol i also played a volleyball-related thing with gwen for a few minutes. and, i watched ryan & kayla play ping-pong. then, i sat and listened to people chat. hmm...i think that's it.
THEN, eric and i went to his grandparents' house. i like them; they're funny. at their house, i ate another hotdog. and, some egg salad. and, watermelon. woot. yay for memorial day hotdog eating!
so, i might go to spain with eric's grandma in december!=) now i'll have someone to fly across the ocean with...yay! i'll go with someone; i'm just scared to leave the continent alone.lol (i probably would, bc i think that it would be kinda cool...but, still scary.) anyway, now i have someone fun to go with!
after that fiasco, eric brought me home. i sat. he went to his house and mowed grass. then, i talked to him for a bit. i started making something cool. you can't know about it until it is done...hah! it thunderstormed. then, i watched "that thing you do". now i am listening to the goat song, eating elf cookies, and possessing a great patriotic feeling! seriously, what other country is as great as this one!?!? none. plus, we have elf cookies!
