aujourd'hui de mon vivant...

10 November 2005

finder.

i'm sitting in the bethany college library right now. it's kind of noisy in here today, and i think it's mostly the people who work here! oooh.
only 39 days until i go to spaaaaaaaain! and...a few more days until i go to LONDON!!!! yay for all of that business!
today hasn't been a very eventful day so far; i got out of both of my classes super early. but, i actually was awake this morning, so i'm pretty and not scrubby!=)
i think i'll trot down to visit the post office in a little while. that should be exciting; i'm supposed to have a fair amount of mail...and it'd better be here!
things i've eaten SO FAR today: a multi-vitamin, a granola bar, most of a banana, and a glass of milk.
random memory: one friday night during freshman year, it was REALLY cold and snowy--just one of those terribly gross wintery nights. my roommate and i walked to blockbuster to rent a movie, we stopped at arbys and got food, then we sat in our room and ate food and watched movies all night.
other related memory: that time that i came home from a class freshman year, and my roommate was sitting on the floor with about 15 lbs of food because it had been "country fair" night in the cafe. she gave me a candied apple and some corn on the cob. i don't even like corn.
memory #3: i went to eric's house one time after he'd worked, so he was in the shower, and i was sitting in the living room with gwen. she'd just had her first communion that morning, and she told me in detail how gross the wine was.
i like writing these #4: when i was in kindergarten, we only went to class for a half day. my mom taught classes all day, and best friend's mom was a teacher there as well. in the afternoons, we usually stayed at school to eat lunch and go to recess with the big kids. after that, we were supposed to take a nap on the library floor, then we could either play outside (when it was warm) or play with the toys in the kindergarten classroom. one time, we were outside playing, and it was almost time for school to let out. my mom sent a boy (a big second grader!) outside to tell us come inside. but, we saw him coming, and hid behind a tree (it was a BIG tree; we both fit behind it!). he couldn't find us, and he went back inside and told everyone. my mom flipped out, and we got in trouble for hiding. it was funny though.
randomness #5: my favourite food used to be stale angel food cake. and, i still think it's really good!
