bully.
after church tonight, the parking lot was really icy, and all of the cars were covered in snow. there was a man (from our church) who was running around brushing off all of the cars, helping the old people across the ice, and directing everyone out the back of the parking lot because the hill out the front was slippery. the guy is about 30 years old and unmarried; he's really super annoying, but he's nice. my brothers and their friend were making fun of him tonight, but what he was doing was really nice! they sure weren't helping anyone out in the snow. that man spent probably a good 45 minutes out in the parking lots doing things that he had absolutely no obligation to do; he was just plain being nice. why should people make fun of that?
tomorrow is thanksgiving. it doesn't feel like thanksgiving. first of all, it's been snowing really hard for over 24 hours now...and it's not due to stop for another couple of days. snow isn't thanksgivingish. last year, i went to the wvu game at pitt on thanksgiving. it was probably just about the coldest thing i've ever done, but it was loads of fun. i miss eric a whole ton too; not having him around makes me feel not in a holiday spirit. he's on his way to athens right now. there's no thanksgiving in athens; he should come here.
things i ate today: a multi-vitamin, a pear, a fajita with salsa, cranberry juice, leftover pizza, a mint, and some scrambled eggs. my meals were a little backwards today.
my dear brother dared me to chug an entire bottle of water tonight. i did it. hahaha, seriously. 1 entire .5 liter bottle of h2o went into me within like a minute. i kind of felt like throwing up afterward, but it passed. i'm proud; i never did that to anything before. and, i'm pretty sure that water is the only thing that i could do it with!
those little soft mints are my favourite. they're way better than candy canes/all the other minty christmas candies just because they're chewable! and, they're pretty.
i got to talk to my boyfriend on the phone for quite some time today. and several times online! yay!! this whole thing is getting unreal; i miss him sooooo much. less than a month.
i hate snow. there's a lot of it outside. i hate cold too. and, there's a darn lot of that outside too! i always say that i'm cold for the entire cold season--and it's true!! i can be inside for hours after 5 minutes in the snow, and i'll still be shivery.
i think i'll eat another one of those mints now.
the fuzz says hi. mostly.
i really like my passport. the photo isn't the best, but i do enjoy simply possessing the thing. it's very official and governmental and stuff.
how come nobody ever told me that sweatpants are soooo comfortable? i rarely wear them...but i just happen to have been wearing them for most of break so far. and, i must say, they're very nice. i still probably won't wear them on a regular basis, but at least i know now--and, it can be more of a possibility, rather than a remote concept.
haha, i hope nobody understood all of that last bit. it made a lot more sense in my head.
president bush pardoned 2 turkeys this year. their names are yam and marshmallow. why can't they just be named turkey and stuffing?
