happy thanksgiving!!!

today is thanksgiving! that cheers me up! ...not that i was really in need of being cheered, but the fact that today is thanksgiving makes me cheery...maybe more than i should be, but oh well! i woke up this morning, and helped my mom cook. i was in charge of the potatoes. first, i peeled an entire bag of potatoes with a sharp, sharp knife. it was fun. then, i cooked them with some salt. and some water. then, i poured some potatoes into this potato smashing contraption. but, when i smashed them, they came out the holes in the bottom like worms. it looked gross, and my mom said that it was squeezing the water out and making them dry. so, i got this very cool potato smashing device! it had holes in the bottom, and was sort of like a metal mallet. with holes. anyway, it was great fun to smash the potatoes!!! i think that ill make real mashed potatoes a lot when im old, just because i think that theyre a lot of fun. maybe ill make them sometime soon again. they really are fun to make. anyway, after the potato adventure, i set the table. i made it all pretty:) my grandma came over, and she brought 2 pies. now we have 5 different pies in the fridge. yay! we ate thanksgiving dinner, and i ate some of everything, except for the corn pudding and the cranberry sauce! i am stuffed. in a few minutes, im going to leave to go to the wvu vs. pitt game with eric and adam! that will be fun, fun, fun! its kinda cold out, but oh well. im excited!:) catcha lata, bitches!
