definition of a darla thing

DARLA THING: verb. originated from the movie "finding nemo" by pixar animation studios. the expression "darla thing", was invented by mr adam wilson and miss tiffany frank during the summer of 2004. it is used when describing the reaction that occurs when one is experiencing the epitome of excitement and exhileration. it is, in fact, a reference to darla's actions, in the film. darla, the dentist's niece and a notorious fish killer, is named after the producer of "finding nemo", darla k anderson, and her voice is done by the talented ms lulu ebeling. the expression "darla thing" is in reference to darla's bouncy reaction when her uncle (the dentist) tells her that her present is going to, indeed, be a fishy. the pigtailed child psychotically bounces up and down in the dentist chair, claps her pudgy hands, and lets out a sort of wailing growl sound. this is a "darla thing."
